Up to the present day LASE is an owner-managed company which is the market leader when it comes to laser measurement technology in numerous industries. Different from most entrepreneurs, Achim Klingberg (CEO) defines retirement as something else. He is still involved in various development projects and is considered as an experienced initiator with the right feeling for innovations.
He simply doesn’t run out of ideas, as the latest start-up center project “CUBES” has just proven. The building complex, consisting of five cubes, is scheduled to open at the end of 2020. On 15th May 1990 our CEO Achim Klingberg founded the LASE Industrielle Lasertechnik GmbH in Hünxe with only one employee. The step into self-employment was not difficult for the successful entrepreneur, so that he quit his permanent position. It began with the focus on laser measurement technology in the steel industry. Today LASE operates in business areas such as port, mining and logistics with an absolute routine and expertise.
For our CEO Achim Klingberg, the success is not only based on the product development, it’s especially based on all to the cooperation with competent employees who have accompanied LASE faithfully over the years. Many of today’s LASE employees have been with LASE since the beginning and still appreciate LASE for the flat hierarchies and the family environment. A further reason for his success is the daily support of his family, with whom he can spend more time in his retirement.
