With the annual Crane Conference, the relevant institutes of the universities of Magdeburg, Bochum and Dresden take into account the great importance of cranes for the design of material flow. The Crane Conference is an established, specialist event that provides information on research results and new developments on all problems relating to cranes from a university and practical perspective. The Institute for Technical Logistics and Work Systems at the Technical University of Dresden is responsible for the organization and scientific supervision of the 32nd Crane Conference, which is being held under the motto "Cranes in the age of the energy transition".
