LASE will supply a customer with 5x LaseSPC Straddle carrier Positioning Systems with long-range scanners for an extra wide portal span.
The systems help the straddle carrier operators position the container under the STS crane in one shot.
Each system consists of a laser scanner and two digital displays showing the straddle carrier operators the correct position for one 40-foot container, one 20-foot container or two 20-foot containers.
