LASE has been awarded the supply of seven 3D multilayer laser measurement gantry collision prevention systems for a port in England.
LaseGCP—3D is used for gantry collision prevention with a 3D surveillance area in front of two or more crane legs. The system can be used with two or four multilayer laser scanners mounted on the upright gantries. One or two travel directions can be monitored depending on the number and mounting location. The 3D monitoring areas generated are virtual monitoring areas in front of the cranes, driven in the respective direction of travel.
