Product Expansion for LaseMF
LaseMF stands for a modular, multifunctional laser measurement system for yard cranes. The base system is equipped with the necessary functional modules depending on the application, and the available functions can be used individually or in combination. The installed multilayer laser scanners monitor the relevant crane areas, while the sensors, control unit and software work together to detect, evaluate and provide the selected functions.
The system already includes functions such as LaseGCP, LaseTLP, LaseCPD, LaseTMD, LaseTPS, LaseESD and LaseASTO. It is designed to support manual, remote controlled and automated crane operation with a reduced number of sensors, easy installation and a modular usage concept tailored to the customer’s needs.
LASE has now expanded the portfolio with the important additional functions LaseLCPS-ML and LaseLCPS-ML-Gantry. These systems use robust multilayer laser scanner technology and provide multifunctional, laser based solutions for collision prevention, stack profiling and soft landing in crane operation. They help prevent collisions between the load and the container stack, as well as between the spreader and the load within the stack, while also enabling precise load monitoring in container terminals.
This makes the combination of LaseMF as a modular base system and LCPS as an application specific function module highly relevant for terminal operators. LaseMF-LCPS can be positioned as a comprehensive safety and assistance solution for manual, remote controlled and automated crane processes. By combining several functions in one modular system, terminals can support smoother operations, reduce risk and avoid downtime. Existing crane systems can be upgraded step by step with additional safety and assistance functions, without the need to fundamentally redesign the entire setup.
