The LaseBVC - Bulk Volume Conveyor System is a high precision laser measurement system for volume measurement of materials on conveyor belt systems.
The Measuring System
The LaseBVC consists of a 2D laser scanner that is mounted across the conveyor belt for precise volume measurement and forms a vertical scanning plane. A bulk material profile is generated from the scan data of the laser scanner. Through the delta comparison of an initially performed empty scan of the empty conveyor belt, the volume on the conveyor belt is calculated via the volume profile of the material on the filled conveyor belt.
From the obtained scan data, the volume flow can be precisely calculated by the LaseBVC measuring system. In total, up to four 2D laser scanners can be operated simultaneously on one LaseBVC measuring system.
The high-resolution laser scanners reliably detect the bulk material, even at high material transport velocities. Algorithms for adjustment and calibration ensure the highest accuracy
The measuring system can be easily and intuitively operated and controlled by a user-oriented user interface. The system can also be accessed remotely and the process monitored via an Internet or browser-based WebPortal.
