LaseAFM systems measure the dimension and volume of the cargo to within < ± 20 mm. The laser scanners generate a 3D point cloud of the measured object. As a result, the size of the minimum enclosing volume body (cuboid) is determined (length x width x height and the volume). At the same time, the modules weight (scales), identification (barcode scanner) and condition control (cameras) can be used. With all products of the LaseAFM series, the measuring process takes place within a few seconds. The results are then automatically transmitted to the ERP system.
